As a worldwide movement, the YWCA in PNG is committed to empower women to advocate against social, economic and political injustices.

Our Goals

  • To empower women, especially young women in spiritual, physical, mental and cultural well-being.
  • To strengthen our advocacy against social, economic and political injustices.
  • To achieve political and economic representation in all levels of governments, including statutory bodies and institutions.
  • To increase our knowledge, skills and training at national regional and international levels.
  • To increase our financial and human capacity for effective advocacy, training skills and service/program delivery.
